Voting by Absentee Ballot

Vote Absentee In Person

2024 状态 Primary absentee voting begins Friday, June 28th, 2024.

2024 状态 General absentee voting begins Friday, September 20th, 2024.

All eligible voters may vote 在人, by absentee 46 days prior to each election at the Swift 县 Courthouse during normal business hours.

 

The Swift 县 Courthouse will also have extended hours to absentee vote on the following days:

状态 Primary Election 

  • Saturday, August 10 – 9 a.m. 到3点.m.
  • Monday, August 12 – 8 a.m. 到5点.m. 

状态 General Election 

  • Saturday, October 26 – 9 a.m. 到3点.m.
  • Tuesday, October 29 – 8 a.m. 到晚上7点.m.
  • Saturday, November 2 – 9 a.m. 到3点.m.
  • Sunday, November 3 – 9 a.m. 到3点.m.
  • Monday, November 4 – 8 a.m. 到5点.m.

 

Vote Absentee by Mail

Voters may vote early by requesting absentee ballot materials be mailed to them.   应用 在线 (statewide elections only) or download and complete the Absentee Ballot Application (PDF).  

  • Absentee Ballot Applications must be signed in order to be processed
  • Do not submit more than one application for each election
  • Once your application is received, absentee ballot materials will be mailed to you as soon as they are available

Completed paper applications should be returned as soon as possible to the Swift 县 审计师’s Office by mail, 在人, 电邮或传真.

Return your Absentee Ballot

邮寄回邮: Voters may return their ballot by mail with the postage paid return envelope provided. 

亲身交回: Voters may drop off absentee ballots for themselves and up to 3 additional voters, 在人 at the Swift 县 审计师’s Office. To drop off a ballot for another voter, you are required to come inside to provide identification with your name and signature.

  • You may NOT drop your absentee ballot off at your polling place on Election Day
  • Ballots received after 8 pm on Election Day will not be counted

 

Requirements for Uniformed & Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA):

  • 完成一个 Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).
  • Mail, fax or email the completed form to our office. (Our information is listed above)
